Expert nutrition support for midlife women

Simply Midlife Dietitian specialises in supporting midlife women through customised strategies specific for women during perimenopause and the menopause transition.

  • Offering personalised, individualised nutrition assessment, using a systems-based approach, we identify meaningful health and lifestyle changes and solutions which may offer the greatest benefit to support women in midlife and beyond.

  • For women seeking support with weight management, Simply Midlife Dietitian offers strategies to safely and sustainably improve health behaviours in a non-stigmatising, supportive way. Our approach is grounded in health behaviour change methodology.

  • Women in midlife can lose 20% of their bone mass in the first 5-7 years following the menopause transition. Simply Midlife Dietitian supports women to optimise bone health during this critical time through diet and lifestyle solutions.

  • Hormonal changes during midlife can affect cholesterol levels, increase blood pressure, lead to weight gain and the development of the metabolic syndrome, all risk factors for cardiovascular disease. As an experienced dietitian and health coach, Simply Midlife Dietitian can support your patients to make lifestyle changes, add nutrients known to be beneficial for heart health, support weight loss and support cholesterol reduction. Simply Midlife Dietitian is an expert in chronic disease prevention.

  • Declining estrogen can impact a woman’s gut health due to changes in the estrobolome, the gut bacteria that metabolise and recycle estrogen back into the blood stream. These gut changes can lead to or exacerbate digestive health concerns for women. Simply Midlife Dietitian is able to support women to improve their gut health.

  • A range of lifestyle changes can support and improve symptoms in midlife. This includes regular physical activity, healthy eating, improving sleep, support with meal planning, diet education and establishing good routines to support and maintain lifestyle changes.

  • Hormonal changes in midlife can increase a woman’s risk factors for the development of chronic diseases, like type 2 diabetes. Kate is an expert in diabetes and has completed the Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education and Management. We understand and can support women to reduce their risk for type 2 diabetes and other chronic diseases in a safe and sustainable way.
